Big Book Science™, our award-winning science program, opens the world of scientific exploration with 30 exciting interactive big books for pre-k, kindergarten, grade 1, and grade 2 children.

Big Book Science™ Sets 1, 2, and 3 received the Learning® Magazine Teachers ChoiceSM Award for 2007!

Encourage children, pre k and up, to become scientists as these science big books lay the foundation for scientific understanding. Children develop investigative and process skills while exploring Science as Inquiry, Life Science, Earth and Space Science, Physical Science, Science in Personal and Social Perspectives, Science and Technology, and the History and Nature of Science. These big books support the National Science Standards and state early-childhood standards as they help children, preschool through grade 2, to use the four steps in scientific discovery: explore, investigate, collect, and communicate.

Real-life photographs and interactive Attachables™ capture the children’s attention. Follow this with science lessons from the teacher’s guides—lessons designed with the challenges and limited budget of the real classroom in mind.
