Children build confidence in their reading skills as they begin to read independently for comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. Each set includes a resource guide and read-along versions of the stories on two CDs.
Learn to Read
Each set is made up of 144 books (6 copies each of 24 titles) and has extension ideas conveniently located at the back of each book. Set one (levels A-D) contains repetitive, predictable story lines and a strong text/picture match to support emergent readers. Set 2 (levels C-J) contains more challenging text with less repetition and predictability.
Sight Word Readers
Delightful emergent readers help children to read, write, and spell 114 sight words, provide reading practice, and give early readers the opportunity to successfully read a book independently. For reading levels A-E, these books (144 total; 6 copies each of 24 titles) are just right for giving children a positive first reading experience.
